Connecting your DROPAmp is easy!

For the 1-port (2100)

Connect the ‘RF IN’ at the home entry point of the cable service, and then connect your existing wiring to the output port. This amplifies the signal to all devices connected to the unit.

For the 4 port (2400) & 8-port (2800):

Replace your existing splitter(s) with the Electroline DROPAmp. Connect the 'RF IN' at the home entry point of the cable service, and then connect each cable run directly to the output ports. This sends an amplified signal to all devices connected to the unit.

For the 8-port (FT08300)

Because of the Active Return capability, your data modem can also be directly connected to this unit. VoIP modems should not be connected to any amplifier. VoIP modems should be connected via a 2-way splitter, so that it remains on the 'passive' leg of the cable connection.

Complete installation instructions are included in the package, and you can open the attached PDF documents to review the connection instructions.
